Consultation

Design begins with Think Outside understanding the client’s ideas, personal preferences and style and determining how the space is to be used. At this stage design options and materials will be discussed along with the opportunity to view other projects from the Think Outside portfolio and elsewhere for inspiration. A proposal (usually verbal) follows. The proposal sets out the fee payable to develop a Concept Plan- this fee is offset against the total cost should the client proceed.

Garden Design

Concept Plan: This stage includes an overall plan of the garden to scale, with images of key design elements plus samples of materials and plant species to be used. This plan provides clients with a clear visual image of the new garden and includes a preliminary budget.

Detailed Plan and Quotation: Following approval of the Concept Plan, detailed plans are developed for the structural elements, stonework, woodwork, planting, lighting, etc. and a final Construction Quote is prepared for completion of the project.

Construction: As can be seen from our portfolio Think Outside has experience and confidence with all forms of landscape construction, familiarity with a wide variety of construction materials and an understanding of the horticultural requirements of a garden. This experience ensures the successful completion of the project within the budget and timescale.

Maintenance

Think Outside offers a professional maintenance service, for its own projects and for others, to ensure the highest standard of care for your garden. Following an on-site consultation Think Outside will develop an appropriate maintenance programme. Maintenance frequency can be agreed to suit the circumstances.
